2023 has been a very busy year! Tests, exams, extracurriculars and after school jobs no doubt have a lot of us tired and in need of some refreshment and fun. Youth Camp 2023 is a chance is a chance to close out the year with four days of fun, sun, activities, swimming, chats, learning, friends, relaxing, volleyball, laughs & good vibes while learning how we can better be totally devoted to God.

Our speaker this year is Jordan Farnum. Jordan is the Associate Pastor at Orewa Baptist Church. We're eagerly looking forward to what he has to share with us over the weekend!

We’ll be posting more information and updates as we get closer to camp – what to bring, bus information, etc. Make sure you’re following us on Instagram (@northcrossyouth) so you don’t miss a beat.

WILL OUR CHILDREN BE SAFE AT CAMP?

  • We will do our best to ensure every camper is safe at our event. We have a big team of volunteers who will be supervising every activity, as well as a qualified doctor on site at all times. We also have mature leaders who are available at all times during the camp to provide mental, emotional, and spiritual support. Campers are not permitted to leave the site outside of organized activities. On top of all of this, we’ll make sure we adhere to high standards of hygiene and sanitation!

HOW DO I CONTACT MY CHILD DURING CAMP?

  • Reception is perfectly fine at this campsite, so you should be able to contact your kids during camp. We’ll also provide you with contact details of the camp committee, so if you’re unable to reach your child for whatever reason, there are many different options you can take.

WHERE DO WE SLEEP?

  • You’ll be relieved to hear that we will be in cabins, not tents. Guys and girls will be in separate rooms of course!

IS THIS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE CAMP?

  • Definitely! No drugs or alcohol are permitted on this camp, and anyone who breaks this rule will be sent home.

  • We’ll be working in tandem with the camp staff to ensure all safety protocols are implemented, in accordance with government guidelines.
